Baddow Park Wedding – Louise & James

The one with the swords   Ok, next up in the whirlwind week/month/summer of weddings…I give you Louise and James. These guys met in the army, which Louise has since left, but James is still a serving Apache pilot (you know, just your standard 9-5 job!) so their big day was hallmarked with fabulous military touches. Louise got ready in the newly refurbished salon at Baddow Park House and wore the most incredible dress which (wait for it) had POCKETS!! Pockets, I tell you. How amazing is that? She also threw in a little side slit, because let’s face it, a bit of leg for good measure never goes amiss! Their ceremony was held at their beautiful family church in Sandon and they were greeted with a military guard of honour as they exited the church which as you can imagine, made for a fab photo and a really lovely tribute to how they met and their current service. James then drove his new wife to the reception venue in a rather lush red Ferrari. I wasn’t jealous. Nope, not one bit! If I gave out awards at weddings then this one would have definitely won “most raucous speeches of…

Outdoor wedding planning essentials

Planning a wedding is a huge challenge, even in normal times. From small details, like the shape and style of your jewellery, to larger concerns such as the food menu, there’s so much to keep in mind. Outdoor weddings, however, are even more challenging – and they’re now more popular than ever as couples seek to make their ceremonies as COVID-safe as possible. An outdoor wedding can be incredibly idyllic and picturesque, and it can be a fantastic way to make your day even more special. But holding a wedding outdoors suddenly lumbers you with a whole host of potential challenges that you just don’t have with a traditional wedding venue. Here are some tips to help ensure that you sidestep the potential headaches. 1: Full Power! This might seem like an obvious point, but making sure that everything you want for your wedding is adequately powered is a must. Picturesque fairy lights hanging from tree branches aren’t going to look that great if they’re off. That quiet jazz band playing softly into the evening can’t croon to your guests if they haven’t got the juice for their instruments. So be sure to power up your proceedings. 2: Whether you’re…

How to add personal touches to your wedding day

Your wedding day is not just a day to cement your relationship with your partner in front of family and friends, it’s also a day to celebrate that relationship and all the things that make it special and unique. Adding personal touches to your wedding day is all part of the excitement. It helps you to share with your guests the things that have brought you together, and set your love apart. Start with you There are so many ways you can add a personal touch to the day’s proceedings, so why not make a list of things that are special to you both? Think about the music that was playing the first time you kissed, or consider a shared interest such as sports, travel or books. Once you have made your list, you will be ready to choose where to incorporate your distinctive personal touches into your wedding day. Flowers The kind of flowers you choose can set your wedding apart. You can take inspiration from the venue and the season, or pick flowers that you both love – or maybe even colours that match your personal colour scheme. If you need guidance, you can work with us and…

Article by: Aime Bone Flowers Aime Bone – Fantasia 2020 Flower Masterclass And Gala Dinner. Held at the Four Seasons Hotel, London.   Our first ever 3 day floral masterclass “Fantasia” at the world-renowned Four Seasons Hotel Park Lane was an experience like no other - I am beyond proud of what my amazingly talented team and I produced in 3 days of floral epicness x I have always wanted to run a masterclass for aspiring florists and was fortunate enough to be supported by the best talent in the industry to bring my vision to life. Florists from across the globe joined us to create the ultimate immersive floral experience - The Four Seasons at The Four Seasons “Fantasia”. The Wedding of Claire and Nick – Braxted Park Wedding, Braxted, Essex

Posted on: Matt Wing Photography Claire and Nick's Braxted Park wedding The Braxted Park September Wedding of Claire and Nick in 2019. A fantastic couple who I immediately bonded with in our first meeting. Claire and Nick are a brilliantly outgoing pair and this Braxted Park September wedding was a true reflection of them. I wish them the very best in the future and all the luck in the world. “At Braxted Park, discover the intimacy and warmth of a family home meets the opulent grandeur of a house steeped in history. The tree-lined drive and view of the Georgian mansion standing proud at its head will amaze, but get closer and the walled garden and secluded spaces at the heart of this magnificent 500-acre estate will certainly wow” You can also see other Braxted Park Weddings I’ve photographed by clicking Here Here’s the story of their day… Suppliers: Venue: Braxted Park Make-Up/Hair: Botias Dresses: Pronovias Florist: Stock Florist Cake: The Couture Baker Caterers: Acclaim Events Piano: Piano DJ Photography Matt Wing Stock Florist: We at Stock Florist loved working with Claire and Nick, ensuring all flowers were perfect for their big day. The Wedding of Gareth and Tom – Essex

Posted on: Nick Rose Photography Humanist Marquee Wedding in Essex The second part of Gareth and Toms amazing 2-day wedding took place in beautiful grounds in, Essex. It was an incredible outdoor marquee wedding with beautiful touches, emotion and lots of celebrating and I had such a great time working with them both for their wedding events. Gareth and Tom are such a wonderful couple and it was an honour to tell their story. The wedding was set in a lovely location, in the grounds of the family home, with stunning views over the countryside of Essex. They could not have picked a sunnier day for an outdoor wedding, and the weather was perfect for getting married outside. The day began with friends and family relaxing by the pool and getting ready for the wedding ceremony. Gareth and Tom are such a fantastic couple, and it was such a pleasure to see how much the day meant to them. It was clear to see what an effort Gareth and Tom had made ensuring that the whole day was filled with so many unique and personal touches. London wedding planner Katrina Littleton had worked closely with the couple to fill the…
